Are you ready to RAWR?! Join the adventure and Race Across Waterloo Region on June 13, 2020 to support survivors of sexual violence. RAWR! integrates paddling, biking, and trekking, and features three different distance options, with competitive and non-competitive classes, encouraging racers of all levels to join the adventure. The course is designed as an introduction to Adventure Racing. Fundraising:
As a participant in RAWR! it is your responsibility to fundraise a minimum of $100. Every fundraising dollar goes directly to our centre (the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region), and provides essential counselling services to survivors. You'll find your personal fundraising page as you complete your registration. Share it with your family, friends, and colleagues! There are prizes for the top fundraisers. About Waterloo Region Crossing (Event Organizers) Waterloo Region Crossing is a not-for-profit endurance event company. They coordinate events wherein citizens challenge themselves in extraordinary circumstances to raise awareness about the most pressing issues facing our community. Waterloo Region Crossing works at the grassroots level, engaging with citizens and local organizations to build community with a common goal: to empower each other through understanding, setting an example as leaders in social compassion and environmental stewardship. Waterloo Region Crossing builds proof-of-concept events that can be expanded, replicated, and built upon to broaden their impact with each successive year.
