Every day, survivors of sexual violence reach out to sASC seeking safety, support, and hope. Whether someone is calling our 24/7 support line, meeting with a counsellor, navigating the justice system, or rebuilding their life after trauma, they deserve to know that compassionate support will be there when they need it.

As a Monthly Advocate, you’ll be joining a community of dedicated supporters whose ongoing generosity provides the steady, reliable funding that helps keep our services free, confidential, and accessible throughout the year. Your monthly gift means we’ll be able respond to urgent needs today while planning confidently for tomorrow. You’ll be making it possible for survivors to access care whenever they are ready to take the next step in their healing journey.

About SASC

The Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region provides wrap-around support to survivors of sexual violence. Through comprehensive services, we aim to empower survivors, raise awareness, and foster a community that stands against sexual violence. 

Some of the services we offer include: 

• Crisis intervention and support for survivors 
  
• Counselling services for individuals and groups 
  
• Education and outreach programs to prevent sexual violence and promote healthy relationships 
  
• Advocacy for survivors' rights and systemic change 
  
• Practical needs (food, transportation) 
  
• Accompaniment to the hospital, police station, and courtroom
