Together, We Can Transform Lives

You can make a difference

Volunteer With Us

We're inspired by the dedication and compassion of our volunteers. Trained volunteers play a vital role in the delivery of many of our services. SASC is seeking volunteers to join us in supporting members of our community, and their family and friends, who have experienced sexual violence. We provide comprehensive volunteer training in the spring, summer and winter, ensuring confident and skilled volunteers.

SASC encourages prospective volunteers who reflect the diversity of Waterloo Region (newcomers to Canada, Black, Indigenous and People of Colour, 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, people with disabilities) to apply. Tell us how your unique talents and skills can contribute to transforming lives in our community.

A VOLUNTEER SPEAKS...

“I became a volunteer at SASC after hearing about this amazing organization from a friend. It is such a rewarding and meaningful role, because I get to see firsthand the impact that providing good support can have to individuals in our community. Likewise, I am so proud to be a part of a team that promotes inclusivity, kindness and empathy.”
