With the demand for our service at a 30 year high, we’re asking members of our community to demonstrate their support and solidarity by becoming a monthly donor. In honour of our 30+ years of persistence, healing, and hope, we’re in search of donors in Waterloo Region willing to make this concrete commitment.

Make a commitment to work towards a future without gender-based violence. Become a monthly donor today and transform lives.
Benefits of donating monthly (Click to expand)
  • Secure, reliable funds make it easier for SASC to plan out programming
  • The knowledge that your donation is put to work immediately
  • Lower administrative costs for SASC
  • Less financial strain as a donor as you can give over time versus a lump sum
  • Automatic donation payment from your credit card, Pay Pal, or Interac
  • Annual or monthly statements provided for tax purposes
  • The ability to change or suspend your donation at any time
The impact of $10, $25, $50, or $100 a month... (Click to expand)
Consider that…
  • $10 a month can provide survivors with practical assistance such as bus tickets, food, and self-care items
  • $25 a month can provide 8 hours of coverage on our 24 Hour Support Line, ensuring a trained and caring person is always available to take a call
  • $50 a month can support workshops for youth about consent and healthy-relationships
  • $100 a month can support one survivor through their healing journey

Support survivors like Dianne.

Please watch this three minute video to hear Dianne's story, and why SASC needs your support today. When you donate, whether it's one-time, monthly, by organizing a fundraiser, or making a gift-in-kind, you support survivors like Dianne.

Thank you for your donation!

A MONTHLY DONOR SPEAKS...

“We strongly believe in the work of the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region. It’s hard to imagine a more dedicated, hard working, forward thinking group of people, while working in one of the most challenging areas. Our hope is that by making a monthly financial contribution we can support this work -- and contribute towards ending sexual violence in our community.”  – CHERYL AND JUDAH OUDSHOORN
